It is difficult to believe that anyone could defend the evil actions of Hamas this week, but as it turns out, even evil has its useful idiots. They inhabit the halls of Congress and some of our most prestigious educational institutions in America.
More than 30 student groups at Harvard University signed a letter singularly blaming Israel for the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas.
The absurdity of a statement that blamed the victims of the attack was bad enough. They ignored validated reports of terrorists murdering young people attending a music festival and the executions of innocent civilians, including women, children, babies, and the elderly. They also ignored reports of rapes and videos of Hamas kidnapping women, children, and disabled grandmothers. Worse, they released their statement the same day of what the AP characterized as “the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history,” knowing full well what had already occurred.
This vile joint statement was organized by the Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee, which produced a document titled “Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine.” The letter condemned…
