February 19, 2023 -Another week, another UFO - unidentified floundering obliquity and the latest demonstration of absurdity by the Biden administration.
President Biden convened a televised national address on Thursday to allay fears surrounding the recent “UFO” shootdowns and to reassure Americans… that they have no real clue what they are shooting down… with missiles that cost millions of dollars of taxpayers’ money.
In his address, President Biden said the objects were most likely recreational, scientific or private and civilian entities unrelated to the Chinese balloon spying activities, and that he "acted out of an abundance of caution” to shoot them down.
Translation: I just wasted millions of dollars overreacting to a bunch of recreational weather balloons by sending jet fighters to shoot them down, before we knew what they were, to protect you from… uh… hobby groups.
As it turns out, one of the “UFOs” they shot down with a $400,000 Sidewinder heat-seeking missile may have been a tiny amateur radio Pico hobbyist weather balloon (K9YO-15) that cost about $12. Pico ballooning is a hobby club that releases high-altitude balloons and tracks them as they circumnavigate the globe.
One of their balloons had been aloft for 123 days, and on its 7th trip around the globe was in the neighborhood of the shoot down and now, has gone missing.
Call me crazy, but it seems like common sense would dictate that:
You IDENTIFY what you are shooting down BEFORE you shoot it down.
You DETERMINE if it poses a threat and/or is spying on us.
You RELAY that information to an adult or a group of adults with IQs above a grapefruit to determine whether it should be shot down.
Then, you MAKE the decision whether to shoot it down.
Keep in mind, that on one occasion, a missile missed the object. Fortunately, it did not hit anything else but a school of lake trout and ended up in Lake Huron. That is fortunately with the emphasis on the “fortune” part because those air-to-air missiles probably were equal to, at the very least, the cost of one segment of a WOKE social engineering, green new deal military training video…. and at $100,000 a pound for lake trout, that’s a lot more expensive than the world’s most expensive bluefin Tuna sushi.
President Biden justified these shootdowns by saying, "…make no mistake, if any object presents a threat to the safety and security of the American people, I will take it down."
Well, the biggest threat to America these days is the ineptitude and incompetence displayed daily by this administration, and the destructive policies they have unleashed upon us. Those are easily identified, every time you gas up, pay your energy bill, buy groceries or look up into the sky and see the latest consumer price index… sky-high.
Hopefully, this will all be resolved before the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. If not, surely it will be resolved in the 2024 elections.
“Uh…no…. Mr. President, I don’t think we should shoot that down. That’s not an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, I believe that’s Snoopy….”
Have a great week! And thanks again for subscribing.
Best wishes,
