Michael Ramirez: The Parallel Universe 4-9-25
From America's Premier Editorial Cartoonist
The parallel universe. -Michael
Editor’s Note: The future belongs to those who are disillusioned with their parties and willing to speak up about it. I considered myself a scientific-minded, feminist, liberal democrat just a few short years ago, and now my former party is betraying literally all of my most dearly-held values. Like the elephant in today’s cartoon, I feel absolutely marooned and politically homeless.
It’s not all hopeless, though. There’s a ship on the horizon. If former democrats like me can peer across the aisle and recognize the sweet reason that exists on the right, we’re not so far gone that we can’t do what Americans do best and come together. We have a beautiful nation founded on high and mighty principles. We can persevere and get through turmoil and uncertainty, because we are Americans. We were never supposed to agree on everything, but we can come together when it matters.
I formerly identified as a democrat. Screw identity politics, I care about liberty, truth, and justice. I’m here for everyone who feels the same.
-Bree

Thank you for supporting Michael’s editorial cartooning and writing at this great independent space. And thank you, most of all, for standing up for free speech and truth, both of which are under attack everywhere.
We’ll see you soon with more of Michael’s work, and as always, let us know what you think in the comments, or drop us a line at ramireztoons@gmail.com
As you can imagine, we receive many emails, and Michael reads everything you send with one exception: I regret that I cannot share your cartoon ideas. As an editorial artist, every original cartoon he publishes must spring from within his mind, though I will happily forward your good wishes, complaints, concerns about issues, or opinions about politicians who seem to make a mess of everything. Michael tries to keep his finger on the pulse of America, so what’s on your mind? What can we do better? Let us know in the comments or by emailing the editor, Bree Lindquist, at breelinguist@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you and will do our best to respond soon.
Best,
Melissa Praemonitus (personal manager for Michael P. Ramirez)
