As you can imagine, I receive many emails, many which dictate things that are physically impossible to do with and to human physiology. I will try to read everything you send with one exception: Please do not share your cartoon ideas. As an editorial cartoonist, every original cartoon I publish must spring from within my own little mind, though I appreciate your good wishes, complaints, concerns about issues, or opinions about politicians who seem to make a mess of everything. I try to keep my finger on the pulse of America, but they keep filing restraining orders against me but I would love to hear what’s on your mind? What can I do better, and no I’m not going to hire ANOTHER editorial cartoonist… Let us know in the comments or by emailing us at ramireztoons@gmail.com.
Congratulations, billionaires. You have brought this on yourselves. Your capitalism is working splendidly for you, but not for the rest of us. We would have to be incognizant or indifferent not to consider Democratic Socialism. Consult a dictionary, Michael, for the difference between Communism, Socialism, and Democratic Socialism.
Socialism is a system that will work when used appropriately, not unlike any other system. Capitalism is also a system that will work when used properly. All of these societal/political systems are demonized by those who are so committed to another that they cannot see clearly. In today's times that is very much the case with the blind vs the stupid and rational thought is no longer valued.
