 Evidence is emerging that fully vaccinated patients have better protection than those who have had COVID and with over 8.36 billion doses of vaccines given in over 184 countries, any real negative reactions would have been exposed by now.

Welcome to your Sunday edition of our newsletter! As many of you know, Michael comes from a large family, and all of his siblings are doctors, so he stays reasonably informed. Your editor resides in Michigan, which is currently experiencing another surge of Covid infections and we’ve included the latest graph of reported deaths. Keep in mind that Michigan’s total population is about 10 million:

We’re not statisticians, but we can count. This week Michigan hospitals reached a new high, with 4,700 admissions for Covid. Evidence from hospitals indicate that 3 out of 4 of those hospitalized are unvaccinated, and about the same percentage are dying, so there’s ample evidence that even if a vaccine doesn’t make you bullet-proof, it appears to improve the odds.
