It will soon be hatching time for the timber rattlers here and that can look amazingly like your illustration. The eagle eggs will be hatching too. The eagles, specially our national symbol, have prospered in my lifetime. The rattlesnakes not so much. But there are now armadillos in Missouri, headed up here no doubt. Thank you!
