I keep trying to think of what might have been running through democrats’ minds at the presidential address on Tuesday. Some, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, didn’t make an appearance at all. Others like Al Green did, but caused disturbances and needed to be escorted out. For the most part, democrats sat and glowered and occasionally held up little signs to air their open disdain for the POTUS, fit for any astroturfed college protest.
