Michael Ramirez: Free Fall 3-17-25
From America's Premier Editorial Cartoonist
Free Fall. -Michael
Editor’s Note: While it’s wildly entertaining to watch democrats continue to flail and fail, it’s also strangely frustrating. What they are doing has not been working, and they should be grasping that on at least a basic level. The working class they claim to support no longer trusts them, women sure as heck don’t, and minorities are starting to doubt that democrats actually have their best interests at heart. While it’s always possible to find people willing to excuse democratic ideological excesses, there are also plenty of long-time supporters who are shrugging and saying, “well, if they’re calling that ‘left’, I guess I have moved ‘right.’”
I used to be really worried about making sure that the left thought of me as a good person, engaging delicately and with ample avoidance on loaded topics like gender ideology and Palestine. I chose to believe that the self-identified leftists I knew were actually really good people, just somewhat misguided because they thought too much with their generous hearts. Lately, I realize that they might be some of the meanest, angriest, most hateful people I know, and as the mainstream democratic party continues to put all of their overpriced eggs into the basket of increasingly extreme leftist viewpoints, it’s getting more difficult to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Dems, your parachute is broken and your efforts will never be good enough for the people you’re trying hardest to please. Cut it loose, because donkeys will fly before the people you’ve dropped see you as a viable vote again.

Thank you for supporting Michael’s editorial cartooning and writing at this great independent space. And thank you, most of all, for standing up for free speech and truth, both of which are under attack everywhere.
We’ll see you soon with more of Michael’s work, and as always, let us know what you think in the comments, or drop us a line at ramireztoons@gmail.com
As you can imagine, we receive many emails, and Michael reads everything you send with one exception: I regret that I cannot share your cartoon ideas. As an editorial artist, every original cartoon he publishes must spring from within his mind, though I will happily forward your good wishes, complaints, concerns about issues, or opinions about politicians who seem to make a mess of everything. Michael tries to keep his finger on the pulse of America, so what’s on your mind? What can we do better? Let us know in the comments or by emailing the editor, Bree Lindquist, at breelinguist@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you and will do our best to respond soon.
Best,
Melissa Praemonitus (personal manager for Michael P. Ramirez)
