A theme is emerging from the left’s meltdown regarding Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter; “normal” people cannot properly judge what is important or what is true, and “experts” should decide what will be allowed in the public forum. Having spent a considerable amount of my life in both the midwest and the left coast, I can confirm that wealthy liberals tend to be a bit more gullible than those who work hard for a living, have responsibilities, and depend on their wits and curiosity to get to the facts. The challenge for us is to help our young people, who have been soaked in nonsense and lies all of their lives, to find their way back to questioning what they hear. Has anyone had success with this?
