EVIL’S COLLABORATORS
by Michael P. Ramirez, October 15, 2023
It is difficult to believe that anyone could defend the evil actions of Hamas this week, but as it turns out, even evil has its useful idiots. They inhabit the halls of Congress and some of our most prestigious educational institutions in America.
More than 30 student groups at Harvard University signed a letter singularly blaming Israel for the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas.
The absurdity of a statement that blamed the victims of the attack was bad enough. They ignored validated reports of terrorists murdering young people attending a music festival and the executions of innocent civilians, including women, children, babies, and the elderly. They also ignored reports of rapes and videos of Hamas kidnapping women, children, and disabled grandmothers. Worse, they released their statement the same day of what the AP characterized as “the worst civilian massacre in Israeli history,” knowing full well what had already occurred.
This vile joint statement was organized by the Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee, which produced a document titled “Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine.” The letter condemned Israel by saying, “We the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli Regime entirely responsible for all the unfolding violence” and later, “the apartheid regime is the only one to blame.”
Here is a copy of the statement and the original list of 33 student organizations that initially signed on:
We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all the unfolding violence.
Today's events did not occur in a vacuum. For the last two decades, millions of Palestinians in Gaza have been forced to live in an open-air prison. Israeli officials promise to "open the gates of hell," and the massacres in Gaza have already commenced. Palestinians in Gaza have no shelters for refuge and nowhere to escape. In the coming days, Palestinians will be forced to bear the full brunt of Israel's violence.
The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years. From systematized land seizures to routine airstrikes, arbitrary detentions to military checkpoints, and enforced family separations to targeted killings, Palestinians have been forced to live in a state of death, both slow and sudden.
Today, the Palestinian ordeal enters into uncharted territory. The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation. We call on the Harvard community to take action to stop the ongoing annihilation of Palestinians.

Astute observers of Harvard University’s tepid reaction noticed.
The students were undeterred and unconcerned… that is until Wall Street CEOs and business leaders demanded the names of the students involved to ensure that none of them would be mistakenly hired in the future. It would seem that students could easily dismiss the evil deeds of terrorists, but threats against their future employment were too much to bear. Several groups walked back and distanced themselves from the statement, claiming ignorance.
So much for enlightenment at our higher institutions of learning...
While I don’t think doxing these students is appropriate, if they truly had the courage of their convictions to take such a disgraceful, vile, and contemptible stand, then they should not hide behind anonymity.
The First Amendment protects free speech. You have the right to say anything… but it does not give you the right to avoid the consequences of what you say.
The backlash against these student groups and the University itself is well deserved.
Harvard should be ashamed of itself.
Now we know the extent of barbarity and wickedness of these attacks. Babies were executed in their cribs. Some reports described the decapitation of infants and children burned alive. Whole families were murdered in their homes.
There is no justification for these evil deeds by anyone claiming to be a civilized person or from a civilized society.
You can be sympathetic to the Palestinian cause yet still condemn these abhorrent crimes against humanity. Yet, the Deputy head of the Palestine Mission to the European Union, Hassan Albalawi, refused to condemn the Hamas terrorist attack.
He wonders why the Palestinians don’t get more sympathy.
The Palestinians have been offered peace and a path to an independent state. They have demonstrated time and time again that there are too many Palestinians willing to trade their independence for death and destruction.
They blame Israel, but the people they killed in the attacks were not just Israelis; they were from 29 countries. In one Kibbutz, they slaughtered the Thai workers in that community.
29 Americans were killed, and 15 more along with 1 U.S. permanent resident are still missing.
One should remember that residents of Gaza elected Hamas to represent them. They cheered in the streets as the terrorists paraded the bodies of their victims and the innocents being held captive in Gaza.
Hamas regularly uses their own civilians, women, and children as human shields. They are cowards. They fire rockets and missiles from residential buildings and children’s hospitals. Even now, Hamas has issued warnings and is preventing civilians from evacuating Gaza.
Hamas and its sponsors should be held accountable.
Death is their biggest ally. Iran is number two. Iran provides funding, training, weapons, and support to Hamas and Hezbollah.
If Iran is found complicit in these acts of terror, then the world should hold them accountable.
The useful idiots who support these atrocities should be held accountable as well.
One wonders… what are they teaching in universities across America with large ignorant masses of students demonstrating in support of terrorists?
The Harvard experience demonstrates that you don’t need terrorists to destroy your credibility.
